The 2007 Fish
Festival was a whopping success with thousands of people
enjoying themselves, strolling amongst the stalls with
interesting crafts and artwork, feasting on fish and other
delicacies and chatting at street cafes while enjoying coffee
and cake.
The hustle and
bustle of many competitions and activities such as the rally,
cycling, angling, and fish braai competitions, Miss Fish
Festival and many games kept visitors entertained and in a
festive spirit.
Despite rough sea
conditions and small fish caught in the angling competition the
weigh-in attracted, as always, a lot of spectators and
with lots of prizes up for grabs the atmosphere in the day tent
was jolly and relaxed and Freddie Mong thoroughly entertaining!
